Our Story
Brisbane sisters Aisling and Margaret Cunningham are proud to launch Australia’s first self-warming eye mask, a wonderful gift of self-care. The idea came when Margaret discovered warming eye masks but couldn’t find any in Australia.
While creating their first samples, Margaret was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite this setback, the sisters continued working on their product, with the masks providing comfort during Margaret's chemotherapy. Six weeks later, Aisling received the same diagnosis, and the eye masks became even more essential during their treatments.
Perfected through their journey, the Lula Eye Mask offers relaxation for sleep, meditation, or screen fatigue.

Cancer Diagnosis
In 2020, while creating their first samples of Lula Eye Masks, Brisbane sisters Aisling and Margaret Cunningham faced an unexpected challenge. Margaret was diagnosed with breast cancer, followed by Aisling receiving the same diagnosis just six weeks later. Despite their diagnoses, the sisters continued developing their product, finding comfort in the self-warming masks during their treatments. This challenging year marked the beginning of their journey to bring comfort and self-care to others facing similar battles.
Lula Launch
In 2021, Aisling and Margaret Cunningham proudly launched Australia’s first self-warming eye mask. After months of development and personal trials, the Lula Eye Mask was introduced to the market, offering a unique blend of warmth and soothing scents. Designed to provide comfort and relaxation, the innovative product quickly gained recognition for its ability to help people unwind and care for themselves amidst the demands of everyday life.
Lula Lights
In 2023, Aisling and Margaret Cunningham expanded their self-care product line with the launch of Lula Lights. These natural quartz lights are designed to illuminate both your room and your mood, creating a serene and calming atmosphere. The introduction of Lula Lights continues the sisters’ mission to make self-care accessible and enjoyable, offering a beautiful and functional addition to any space.
The Lula Family Expands
In 2024, Aisling and Margaret further expanded their range of self-care products. This new collection included unique essential oil blends designed to enhance relaxation and well-being. Additionally, they introduced their latest innovation, the Lula Self-Warming Body Patch, which provides soothing pain relief and warmth on the go. These additions continue to reflect the sisters’ dedication to creating accessible, high-quality self-care solutions for busy lives.
