Roman Chamomile - Studies have also found that roman chamomile not only significantly lowers anxiety, but also improves sleep quality and is very effective in reducing anxiety.
Vetiver - the earthy aroma of vetiver is beneficial for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, insomnia or depression. It is recommended for physical, mental and emotional burnout which results from total exhaustion. Vetiver is cooling and in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which in turn nourishes Yin energy – this is important for promoting restorative sleep.
Petitgrain – the high linalool content of petitgrain naturally complements lavender, which also has a high linalool content. Petitgrain is often recommended for nervous exhaustion, and stress-related conditions. It is relaxing and is often used in blends for insomnia.
Clary sage – the linalool in clary sage also works in synergy with lavender, petitgrain and bergamot – all of which have a high percentage of linalool. Clary sage is beneficial for treating anxiety, stress, nervous tension and depression. It promotes long lasting inner tranquility and is also recommended to bring us more closely in touch with the dream world.
